In Genesis 1:29-30, we learn God created the earth and all who inhabit it to live in harmony. Yet, animals endure horrendous abuse for the pettiest of reasons. Right now, rabbits are being restrained as chemicals that cause excruciating pain are dripped into their eyes, infant monkeys are being ripped from their mothers so they can be terrorized in archaic experiments, and dogs are being chained and forgotten by neglectful owners. This is a far cry from God’s original, peaceful creation.
